One of the scourges that threatens our lakes and contributes to pollution is of course the spread of invasive species. Obviously, the Association encourages all actions taken to counter this threat. In this regard, we recently sent to the municipalities of Bouchette and Ste-Therese-de-la-Gatineau a letter on the sale of posters from the ABV of 7 designed to educate owners of watercraft on the importance of cleaning their boats when leaving a body of water. We hope that the municipalities will understand the importance of this gesture and act on preserving the water quality of Grand Lac Rond. The advertisement of the ABV of 7 is shown here.
